Duddy is a “friendly” sans-serif typography designed by Eleonora Lana and the Letritas team. The shape of Duddy was created based on sketches that looked after carrying the concept of kindness as far as possible, keeping always in mind the readability and functionality of the font. In the stage of brainstorming, the team started listing things that were friendly to the touch or sight, such as a candy gum, or marshmallow, to become acquainted with the intended goal. Although slowly, as the letters were being created, the objects associated with the forms were not satisfactory, since when forming words a special personality of its own appeared. By reconceptualizing everything, the personality of the letter the team wanted to work with had to be redefined. Thus it went from "caramel" to "teddy bear", from "teddy bear" to "puppy" and from "puppy" to "dolphin". And Duddy is the perfect name for a dolphin. Duddy was a sound idea: friendly, intelligent, social. Once the concept was nailed, the design of graceful and “soft” shapes started. Almost chewable, almost huggable, as if composing words was a game. Duddy has a slanted version with "real italics". These italics are slightly more condensed than the regular version, in order to give it a different text texture. The typeface has 9 weights, ranging from “thin” to “heavy”, and two versions: "regular" and "italic". Its 18 files contain 729 characters with ligatures, alternates, small caps, oldstyle and tabular numbers, fractions, case sensitive, and unicase figures. It supports 219 Latin-based languages, spanning through 212 different countries. Duddy supports this languages: Abenaki, Afaan Oromo, Afar, Afrikaans, Albanian, Alsatian, Amis, Anuta, Aragonese, Aranese, Aromanian, Arrernte, Arvanitic (Latin), Asturian, Atayal, Aymara, Bashkir (Latin), Basque, Bemba, Bikol, Bislama, Bosnian, Breton, Cape Verdean Creole, Catalan, Cebuano, Chamorro, Chavacano, Chichewa, Chickasaw, Cimbrian, Cofán, Corsican Creek,Crimean Tatar (Latin),Croatian, Czech, Dawan, Delaware, Dholuo, Drehu, Dutch, English, Estonian, Faroese, Fijian Filipino, Finnish, Folkspraak, French, Frisian, Friulian, Gagauz (Latin), Galician, Ganda, Genoese, German, Gikuyu, Gooniyandi, Greenlandic (Kalaallisut)Guadeloupean, Creole, Gwich’in, Haitian, Creole, Hän, Hawaiian, Hiligaynon, Hopi, Hotcąk (Latin), Hungarian, Icelandic, Ido, IgboI, locano, Indonesian, Interglossa, Interlingua, Irish, Istro-Romanian, Italian, Jamaican, Javanese (Latin), Jèrriais, Kala Lagaw Ya, Kapampangan (Latin), Kaqchikel, Karakalpak (Latin), Karelian (Latin), Kashubian, Kikongo, Kinyarwanda, Kiribati, Kirundi, Klingon, Ladin, Latin, Latino sine Flexione, Latvian, Lithuanian, Lojban, Lombard, Low Saxon, Luxembourgish, Maasai, Makhuwa, Malay, Maltese, Manx, Māori, Marquesan, Megleno-Romanian, Meriam Mir, Mirandese, Mohawk, Moldovan, Montagnais, Montenegrin, Murrinh-Patha, Nagamese Creole, Ndebele, Neapolitan, Ngiyambaa, Niuean, Noongar, Norwegian, Novial, Occidental, Occitan, Old Icelandic, Old Norse, Oshiwambo, Ossetian (Latin), Palauan, Papiamento, Piedmontese, Polish, Portuguese, Potawatomi, Q’eqchi’, Quechua, Rarotongan, Romanian, Romansh, Rotokas, Sami (Inari Sami), Sami (Lule Sami), Sami (Northern Sami), Sami (Southern Sami), Samoan, Sango, Saramaccan, Sardinian, Scottish Gaelic, Serbian (Latin), Seri, Seychellois Creole, Shawnee, Shona, Sicilian, Silesian, Slovak, Slovenian, Slovio (Latin), Somali, Sorbian (Lower Sorbian), Sorbian (Upper Sorbian), Sotho (Northern), Sotho (Southern), Spanish, Sranan, Sundanese (Latin), Swahili, Swazi, Swedish, Tagalog, Tahitian, Tetum, Tok Pisin, Tokelauan, Tongan, Tshiluba, Tsonga, Tswana, Tumbuka, Turkish, Turkmen (Latin), Tuvaluan, Tzotzil, Uzbek (Latin), Venetian, Vepsian, Volapük, Võro, Wallisian, Walloon, Waray-Waray, Warlpiri, Wayuu, Welsh, Wik-Mungkan, Wiradjuri, Wolof, Xavante, Xhosa, Yapese, Yindjibarndi, Zapotec, Zulu, Zuni.

Sudtipos’ new sans serif font Replete is inspired by the mixture of aesthetics and philosophies found on the streets of metropolitan cities the world over. Buildings constructed throughout the twentieth century, including those made in the Art Deco style or influenced by the Bauhaus’s gospel, stand side-by-side as symbols of their time. Typography is one factor that bonds these vistas, and simultaneously further complexifies them. Art deco letters appear on storefronts and signage in Europe’s oldest cities and as remnants of the Golden Age of economic expansion for Latin America. Typography, like architecture, sometimes coexists in perfect harmony, and other times in ideological opposition. But it is these juxtapositions in places such as Shanghai, New York, London, Buenos Aires and Tokyo that shape each city’s identity. Replete is inspired by this mixture. We wanted to create a useful modern sans serif family – a set of 7 weights with playful geometric alternates – that allows you to combine characters including wide-width and filled letterforms. Replete is apt for long texts, and equally, for instances where letterforms can stand together like a cityscape. Replete means full, packed and abounding … it is a sans, it is grotesque, it is geometric and it is Deco. Replete is a new family that has a little of everything we like, equipped with everything you need to design anything you want.

K-haus 205 is inspired by the work of graphic designer and typographer, Herbert Bayer, during his time at the Bauhaus around 100 years ago — work that kick-started graphic design as we know it, to this day. It owes something to the simple geometry of Bayer’s hand-drawn, ‘universal typeface’, updated and expanded to deliver a clean, balanced, geometric sans for today. Also available as K-haus 105, featuring a few different characters here and there, chiefly in the lower case set. Both variations include an extended character set, featuring accented characters for Central European languages.

Albireo is a typeface for those times when you have more to say than space to say it. It also looks fantastic spread out across the page as though space doesn’t matter. Expertly crafted with a high level of attention to detail, Albireo is an immensely practical and flexible typeface that’s neutral enough to be used almost anywhere a highly condensed, sans-serif face is needed. Despite its down-to-earth functionality, this is a typeface that definitely isn’t lacking in style. It really shines when used for headlines or subheadings in magazines, brochures, posters, newspapers, flyers or on the web. With 42 weights, widths and italics, there’s enough flexibility to make every word fit perfectly. You may buy one font at a time or save money by purchasing packages consisting of the 14 fonts in each width (Extra Condensed, Condensed or Semi Condensed). Save even more by purchasing the entire collection and, in addition to the 42 separate fonts, you'll receive two variable fonts (upright and italic) that cover all the weights, widths and everything in between. So where does the name come from? Well, look upwards at night. Albireo is a binary star in the constellation Cygnus. Through a backyard telescope, Albireo (the star) resolves into two brilliant component stars — one orange and one blue. The beginnings of the typeface were the result of me needing a newspaper feature headline about space exploration. I couldn’t find the right typeface, so I drew my own letters and eventually expanded it out into an entire mega-family. Given its origins, naming it after my favorite star seemed totally appropriate. Check it out. I think you’ll love it. Albireo deserves its place as a shining star in everyone’s font collection. It’s that good — really.

Supernett is perfect for space-saving headlines and a truely versatile hand-drawn display family. All letters and numerics are availiable in three variants which alternate randomly with OpenType Contextual Alternates activated. One of Supernett’s key features is ›Wiggling & jumping letters‹: letters jump around the basline or tilt forward and backwards without a plan. Combine this with OpenTypeContextual Alternates and let Supernett look truly hand-drawn with a maximum effect when applied to big typesetting. Further features include small caps, glyph alternates, case sensitive forms, fractions, symbols and many more. Supernett is available in three weights, two widths, Upright and Italic. The family is tailored for large font sizes but also impresses with seamless legibility in small type sizes. Due to it’s display origin and slightly condensed appearance, make sure to increase the spacing a little when used in text setting. The extensive character set supports 209 Central and Eastern European as well as Western European languages (for details, please see below). OpenType Features Alternating Letters Letters and numerics are availiable in three variants which alternate randomly → OpenType Contextual Alternates Small Caps Supernett’s Small Caps mixes Upper- and Lowercase letterforms. Choose between »Small Caps« or »OpenType All Small Caps«. The latter replaces lower- AND uppercase letters, as well as the dotted i and activates punctuation to match the small caps’ height. Wiggling letters All glyphs tilt slightly and randomly forward and backwards → OpenType Swashes (or OpenType Stylistic Set 06) Jumping letters Each single glyph moves individually up or down → OpenType Titling Alternates (or OpenType Stylistic Set 07) → for a stronger effect, add OpenType Stylistic Set 08 (Jumping Baseline MORE) → combine Wiggling and Jumping letters with OpenType Stylistic Set 09 Case Sensitive Forms This feature shifts various punctuation marks to a position that works better with all caps typography. → activated when an app’s all-caps styling is applied Slashed Zero Make clear what you’re talking about and work with a slashed zero → OpenType Zero with a Slash Fractions Figures separated by a slash are substituted by proper fraction glyphs. A date however, written like 10/12/2019 will remain unchanged. → OpenType Fractions Alternate Glyph Set 1 → OpenType Stylistic Set 01 Alternate Glyph Set 2 → OpenType Stylistic Set 02 Alternate Glyph Set 3 The default glyph set. Activate it to disable Alternating Letters within OpenType Contextual Alternates. → OpenType Stylistic Set 02 Y Alternate Choose between two different styles of Y → OpenType Stylistic Set 04 Underlined Uppercase O & ordinals → OpenType Stylistic Set 05 → activate OpenType Ordinals to substitute No. by № I Alternate There’s an alternate for the isolated ›I‹ (I love you) → included in OpenType Contextual Alternates → or activate OpenType Positional Forms: Automatic Form → substitute every single ›I‹ by activating OpenType Stylistic Set 09 Bullet Alternate Choose between two different styles of bullet (•) → OpenType Stylistic Set 11 Squares and Circles Type a – z and out pop squares and circles. The hand lettered word ‘puzzles’ from the box cover of a 1940s set of metal “connected” puzzle pieces manufactured by the A.C. Gilbert Company was the initial typographic model, but some additions and changes were made. Instead of the right side of the ‘P’ being a semi-circle, it was changed to a more conservative ‘’squared’ look. After drawing out all of the necessary glyphs, the overall height of the characters was extended to make the letters and numbers appear taller and narrower. The end result is Narrow Deco JNL, which is available in both regular and oblique versions.

With three different widths in six weights, Bridge Head has the perfect voice for stunning titles. A solo career in posters, banners and logos doesn’t stop Bridge Head from rocking in concert: each of her 18 display styles can work together with Bridge Text to tell stories and build complex typographic ensembles in editorial and corporate design. Where other display typefaces let their thin strokes fade away, Bridge Head keeps the volume and emphasises her wedge serifs and curvy detailing. A large x-height brings out her distinctions, like the four-cornered counter shapes, the voluminous terminals and the monolinear lines that connect her thick strokes and help give Bridge her graphic image. A type system flexible enough to bridge print publishing to digital media, with a kickass K and rebellious R, Bridge Head can shout out loud and make a design that can take her intensity unmistakable and independent of slick conventions. With hands-on OpenType features like small caps and case-sensitive punctuation and more than 800 glyphs, Bridge can fulfill your every display need. Adobe Latin 3 (and beyond) encoding gives a wide range of Latin language support and additional helpful symbols like the charming manicules and dingbats complete a rich typographic palette. Bridge’s ideas and foundations began during TypeMedia 2018 in The Hague as a master project under the supervision of Erik van Blokland, Paul van der Laan, and Peter Verheul. Thank you!
